The Roaring Brook ropes course encompasses instruction for successful participation on a 16 element, interconnected high and low ropes elements. Elements include: inclined log, postman’s walk, Burma bridge, firecracker ladder, ranger ladder, kitten crawl, swinging log, stump jump, dingle dangle, bosun’s chairs, hour glass, tension traverse, fidget ladder and hand over hand. A double cable anchor system with mechanical belays ensures camper safety on the course
Campers enjoy trips which include whitewater kayaking, canoeing, hiking, and camping. Our 650 acre forest perverse has many natural features that are fun to explore. The camp is located just above the Connecticut River with other rivers and streams nearby for boating activities. There are numerous mountain peaks in the area to hike and get a summit view including Mt. Moosilauke, and Mts. Cube and Smart. For some sessions, a whitewater rafting trip or mountain biking trip are offered.
